Amidst the pongal festivities, Kollywood actor Captain Vijayakanth has launched the logo of his TV channel 'Captain TV'. It has been over a year since the captain and his supporters had started with the works  to launch the new tv channel. The Captain and his brother in law will manage the administrative affairs of the channel. Captain TV is expected to be an entertainment channel that will have special programmes, movies and other entertainment solutions. The channel will also telecast news sessions for bringing forward political and social issues. The telecasting of the TV would start on March 15th.
