Goutham Menon to embrace strict legal action against online music video piracy of VTV [Tuesday, December 29, 2009]
With his fans expecting another hit from Goutham Menon through his flick Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya (VTV), the director seems to be very upset with the fact that the songs of the movie are already in circulation even before the official release of the audio. The director has issued a press release in this regard informing that a software has been installed to track the song transfer over the net before the official audio release. The song transfer source thus identified will be subjected to severe punitive action. The producers have also warned the surfers to stop transfering the songs. Gautham Menon said that it should be treated as a crime and not just love for music. The authentic copy would be available in the music stores from January 10 onwards. The current copies in circulation are rough versions of the original version. The film makers are going strict on their stand to deal with the online music video piracy that is going rampant off late.
