Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was highly appreciative of the fact that lyricst Pa Vijay took great interest in being a part of the World Classical Tamil conference. Speaking in relation to the conference to his party cadres, he said that he was very impressed with the amount of interest the lyricist showed for the conference.  “I was mightily impressed when Vijay came to me a couple of days ago and showed designs he created with the help of a painter to decorate the Tamil conference venue.” The Chief Minister said that the amount of interest shown by people like Vijay gave him much confidence that the conference will turn out to be a success. Just few days before kollywood actor Sarath Kumar was also appointed as a member of one of the committees.
