Kollywood actor Kamla Hasan who was attending the State Film Awards Ceremony along with other co stars and kollywood super star Rajanikanth said that he was not jealous of Rajani, but was a great fan of his. He on behalf of Rajani's fans requested the actor to release his latest flick 'Endhiran', as early as possible. He along with Rajanikanth presented Chief Minister M Karunaidhi the award for the best dialogue writer. He added that it was a very important event in his life and that he would be proud about the event all his life. He expressed regret that he could not yet act for a script penned by the Chief Minister.
