Director Seeman arrested and deported from Canada  [Friday, November 27, 2009]
   
 

                             Kollywood film director Seeman was arrested and deported to India from Canada following the allegation levelled against him for making inflammatory speech in support of Velu Pillai Prabhakaran, the Chief of LTTE. A local news paper from Canada reported that the director was on a speaking tour in support of LTTE and that he had given his speech in a place were the LTTE flag was hoisted. The Toronto daily 'National Post' reported that the director spoke about restarting the civil war in Srilanka. Mr Seeman was speaking at a meeting which was organized to coincide with the birth anniversary of LTTE Chief Velupillai Prabhakaran.
