The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam on tuesday announced the candidates for the by polls. Former Minister Anitha R Radhakrishnan and S P J Kamalakannan were nominated for the Tiruchendeur and Vandavasi by polls respectively. The names of the candidates were announced by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at the party head quarters. Mr Anitha Radhakrishnan was expelled from AIADMK after he joined DMK in 2006. He was elected from Tiruchendur and then he quit the post. Mr Kamalakannan is the son of Vandavasi former MLA  S P Jayaraman who won the 2006 elections in the constituency.
