After the departure of many of her colleagues, now it is the turn of Lakshmi Rai to catch the bus to Bollywood. Well, she has already bagged an offer for next year. Lakshmi had recently said that she would not do any more item numbers and that she was planning to concentrate in main stream cinema. ”I am playing the heroine in a Hindi movie that would begin early next year. I am in the process of reducing my weight to fit the role,” says Lakshmi. She is currently busy in the sets of Nann Avan Illai 2 and another mollywood film in which she is starring opposite Mohanlal.
