Ameer finds director's role more demanding [Sunday, November 15, 2009]
Film maker Ameer who donned the role of a hero in the movie 'Yogi' says that a director is more important than an actor. Handling both the positions, Ameer now feels that it is the director that drives the movie and every other component of the film goes by the creativity of the director. “Yes, undoubtedly. A star is created by a filmmaker only. There are no actors without director,” “I wanted to prove that given an opportunity anyone can be made a star. Hence I decided to don the greasepaint with ‘Yogi’.”said Ameer. However he did not disclose much about his film and said that it would be a real surprise. The film is directed by Subramaniam Siva.
