The film earned about 26 laks. The third among the diwali releases was Namitha's Jaganmohini which bagged about 11 lakhs rupees in the first two days. At the and of the fourth week of its screening, Kamal Hasan's Unaipol Oruvan has bagged Rs 4.26 crores. It is in the fourth place.
