Though not a great hit in the box office, Cheran's Pokkisham has been selected for screening in the International Film Festival to be held in Mumbai from October 30 to November 5. The festival will attract many film critics and personalities from across the world and all the pictures screened will be under the limelight. The best news for Cheran is that Pokkisham is the only film that was selected for screening in the film festival. Earlier Cheran was upset with the failure of the film which he expected would create a wave among the youth. The disappointed director had even held open discussions with the younger generation to analyze the cause of the failure. Seems like all his efforts are about to be well paid. The picture will now win an international attention and who knows whether it will bagg an award too.
