In a debate organized by Land Mark at Nungambakkam, Kollywood film actress Kushboo Sundar said that the media acts as the mechanism to converse with the masses. “News about various incidents and welfare measures must reach the public. And media is the best mechanism to take them to the masses,” said the actress.The actress also added that though the news was important, it was also important to differentiate good and bad contents of the news. The programme was attended by many important personalities like political commentator and columnist R Murari, Director General of Police, Fire & Rescue Service, R Nataraj, Congress MP Jayanthi Natarajan, Jaya TV Network vice-president (news) K P Sunil and advocate and legal scholar Geetha Ramaseshan etc.
