Kollywood super star Suriya's new release Adhavan will be out in the Kerala theatres during diwali. The telugu version of the film is titled 'Ghatikudu'. The release rights of Adhavan was sold to Kerala for a sum of 1.25 crore. The other leading releases that will stand hand in hand in Kerala include Mammotty's 'Pazzhasiraja',and Mohanlal's 'Angel John'. Suriya is one among the kollywood actors with a huge fan base in Kerala and Andhra. Hence his films enjoy the same status as in Tamil Nadu over these places. Suriya's earlier release Ayan was sold for a sum of Rs 80 lakhs in Kerala.
