Mohanlal and Resul Pookutty will be awarded the honarary doctorate degrees by the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit at Kalady.The decision regarding the same was taken by the university syndicate. The Sanskrit scholar M J Sastrikal will also be awarded the Doctorate. The degrees will be awarded for their services in respective fields.
