Yesteryear actress Gauthami and Kolywood action king Arjun appeared as prosecution witness at a CBI court in Chennai on Friday. As per sources, the two stars along wth music composer Ilayaraja are the witness in a case against Sundarambal of Sudha International Films. As per CBI, the said Sundharambal took a loan of four lakhs from Triplicane bank of Indian Bank in 1988 for a film titled 'Agni Valayam'. The amount was not repaid and the CBI registered the case against the branch manager Natarajan and producer Sundarambal. The actors who appeared before the court on friday said that they had nothing to do with the case and that there names were misused by the accused of the case. The judge has postponed the verdict of the case to October 1st.
