Veteran Kollywood actor Kamal Hasan said that Chennai has not received the honours that it deserves. He said that though the city had produced great talents, it has not received due attention to the extent of its contribution. He was speaking at a function in which he launched the DVD of Shobana's dance drama Maya Ravan. The actor also heaped praises on Shobana for her awesome performance in Maya Ravan. “I am astounded to see her work that has packed in all elements to attract people to performing arts. Let us hope that the drama reaches greater heights and gets screened at places like Broadway.” said the actor
