The current trend in the tamil film industry is to hire the titles of yesteryear films for the latest flicks. A number of movies are confirming to this trend currently. Initially, the Kollywood was interested in blending the popular old songs with latest trends and many of them like 'Thottal Poo Malarum' and 'Ponmagal Vanthal' were a great success. But currently, the new films are picking up titles of yesteryear movies. A few of such films included 'Nam Nadu', 'Polladhavan','Anbe Vaa',and 'Rajathi Raja'.
