Leading South Indian film actress Asin who has also tested her stint in Bollywood is currently obsessed by 'Kalaripayattu', the oldest form of martial arts which has its origin in Kerala. Asin is currently practising Kalaripayattu for her upcoming Indo-Japanese movie '19 steps'. In the movie, Asin plays the role of a student learning martial arts from her master Kamal Hassan.
