The consecration of the Madurai Meenakshi temple was performed in the last 14 days. The mahakumbabhishekam of the famous Menakshi Sundareswar temple was performed by conducting yagasala poojas. Devotees from various parts of the country and also from Malaysia, Singapore, Africa and Sri Lanka offered worship at the temple during the occasion.
