Inaugurating ‘Bhoomi-2009,’ an exhibition on earth and astronomy at Sri Vidhya Academy International Residential School in Sokkanallur, off Poonamallee Bypasss Road, Governor of Tamil Nadu, Surjit Singh Barnala said that educational institutions must create awareness of environment conservation and hygiene among the students.  Lauding the efforts of Sri Vidhya Academy, he said that the institution not only nurtured potential of the students but also inculcated a sense of responsibility among them to preserve nature.
