Taking into account the rising tempers over Srilankan crisis and the self immolation of Muthu Kumar, the State Government ordered indefinite shut down of all colleges and hostels across the state. On Saturday night, the government release said that 'In view of student's unrest, all colleges, both private and government,including hostels in the state will remain closed until further orders'.
