Varanasi Krishna Rao(58), a senior scientist with ISRO passed away in an accident near Gummudiooondi(Tiruvallur District) about 90 km from here on Saturday. Mr Rao and his wife Suseela (50) had come to Chennai airport to see off their son who left for Dubai. On their way back, the driver lost control and the car rammed into a lorry on the road. Both Mr Rao and his wife inflicted with multiple injuries, died on the spot.
