Taking into account the industries plea to reduce the 40% power cut imposed on high tension units, and to provide a system of  power holidays for LT units, the government has considered undertaking a detailed study. The government's decision was conveyed here by Electricity Minister Mr Arcot Veeraswamy  at the inauguration of India Mart ELASIA 2009, an international exhibition on power, electrical and industrial electronics and International Auto show.
