Chennai is all prepared to host the Pravasi Bharatia Divas on January 8 th and 9th in trade centre Nandambakkam. The event will be marked by the presence of high profile dignitaries, President, Prime minister, and Chief Ministers of different states. The security is stepped up and the road traffic will be monitored by the suburban police. The Pravasi Bharatia Divas, 2009 will discuss a host of issues relevant in the current context and issues related to preservation of language and culture.
