A four year old boy, reported to have contracted swine flu virus died here in a private hospital in Chennai and became the first victim to the flu from Tamil Nadu. The boy died due to multiple organ failure. Three other persons who were in contact with the child, including his brother has been tested positive for the flu.Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary K.S.Sripathy will hold a meeting of private hospitals in the State on Monday evening to review the current situation in the State and advise them on protocols regarding identification and treatment of Swine Flu cases.
