A suspect case of H1N1 flu was reported from Velachery, Chennai. A four year old boy who was admitted to a private city hospital for kidney failure  is suspected to have caught flu. The boy was ill for atleast a week. The Child was suffered from  chronic asthma and diahorrhea. The condition of the boy has been critical for a very long time.However, Director of Public Health S.Elango said the sample was not a conventional nose or throat swab that is used to confirm Swine Flu. Therefore another sample would have to be tested before confirming whether the child is suffering from Swine Flu or not.
