The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's health insurance scheme for the poor will disburse an amount to the tune of Rs 28 lakhs to various hospitals. The scheme was officially launched in July 23 and ever since the launch, there has been a huge number of applicants for the scheme as a result of the quick processing of the schemes. The collectors of all districts have been given instructions to orient the people to implement the scheme without flaws. The govenment hospitals will also play a vital role in the programme.
