Two Tamil Nadu fishermen were injured when the Srilankan Navy Personnel allegedly assaulted a group of 40 fishermen when they were fishing near Katchatheevu. On their return here on Sunday, the fishermen told fisheries department officials that the Sri Lankan Navalmen also took away Rs 30 lakh worth fish catch, fishing nets, communication equipment and currency.
