About ten persons were killed in a freaky accident at a fireworks manufacturing unit in Virdhunagar district on tuesday. The Chief Minister has ordered for an enquiry by Revenue Divisional Officer into the incident and has also issued orders to examine the fire safety measures installed in fire works units in the state. Two persons died in Sivakasi government hospital while one died in Government Rajaji Hospital this morning. The Chief Minister said that the license of the fire works unit had been suspended.
