Man arrested for sending hoax emails warning terror strikes [Tuesday, July 14, 2009]
A man named Yuvaraj from Karur, aged 26 years was arrested by the police for sending emails warning terror strikes in the city. The release from the Chennai Police Commissioner's office said that the emails were sent in the name of Jayaseelan, as a revenge ,as the latter had duped him of Rs 22,500. As his efforts to get the money back failed, he sent the emails, warning that bombs would go off in different parts of Chennai on July 16, in Jayaseelan's name from an internet cafe in the city.
