Thousands of devotees witnessed the Kumbhabhishekam at the Subramania Swamy temple at Tiruchendur. Holy water blessed by the priests was poured on the kalasams as the devotees stood prayful chanting mantras. Devotees had gathered very early to witness the ritual that took place between 10.30 am and 11.15 am. The consecration was performed after an interval of about 14 years.
