Rajiv Gandhi International airport fortified to prevent spread of swine flu [Monday, June 8, 2009]
The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been fortified by with doctors and a coordination centre here to prevent the inflow of more passengers who are contracted with A(H1N1) flu virus case. Seven positive influenza cases has already been reported in the country. Efforts are also on to acquire Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for air passengers who manifest the typical flu-like symptoms to protect other passengers.
