Usha Krishna from Chennai was elected as the President of World Craft Council (WCC). She was elected at a general assembly of WCC in Hangzhou , China . She was a member of crafts council of India for 3 decades . She has a term of office of four years and is designated to co-ordinate activities of WCC in Africa, Asia Pacfic, Europe, South America and North America.
