Padikkathavan rocked the theatres in the very first day of release with its fabulous mix of action,romance and comedy. The Dhanush ,Tammanah starrer movie directed by Mr Suraj has turned out to be a hit with the youth. 'Padikkathavan', as the name indicates is the story of a young man  who disliked academics but had the desire of learning something in life. The movie conveys the idea that it is not just by passing examinations and graduating in subjects that one learns how to live a meaningful life. People become better educated through experiences that they come across in life. Such experiences make a better lesson than what one mugs up from text books. Vivek the veteran comedian also shares screen space with new appearance than his usual, repeated comedy roles. The UK theatres will screen the movie from 23rd January onwards.
