Tamil Channel supports polio eradication programs in India. Recently TamilChannel.com co-sponsored an event organised by the Rotary International, Dist 3230. During this show playback singer S.P.Balasubrahmanyam was honoured by the rotatory club and was given 'Life Time Achivement' award. The show was titled as 'Ayiram Nilavae Vaa'. Music Directors Vidhya Sagar and MS.Vishwanathan were also participated during this program. Other top singers like PB.Srinivas, SP.Shylajah, SriRam and many other were also praticipated and sung many songs. This show was telecasted in Jaya TV during Pongal time (15-Jan-2009 at 12:00PM). The same was also re-telecasted in CEEI TV in London on the same day London time. Kamaraj Memorial Hall was fully packed where this show was held. Dist Governor Rtn.A.Subramanian, Chairman – FMLR Rtn.NM.Ilangumaran and Rtn.Ramana D.V organised this function is a great manner.
